About Meg Kirby

Meg is the founder of Daylesford Therapy and has been working in Child and Family Mental Health, Adult Community Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol/Addictions, and Private Psychotherapy practice for over 15 years. Trained as a Psychotherapist in Gestalt Therapy for over 13 years and as a Mental Health Social Worker over 15 years ago, with training in diverse models of psychotherapy, Meg continues to believe in the potential of each person to grow.  The key to growth lies in strengthening capacities for Embodied and Integrated Awareness, Connection and Relationship.

Meg also has a belief in the power of other species and connection to the natural world in supporting this human development in Awareness and Connection, so we can reconnect to our basic capacities for trust, openness, grounding, and being in the moment. Dogs and Horses can be invited into the therapy process to support this development. Meg is a certified Equine (Horse) Assisted Psychotherapist and offers these sessions to children, adults, couples and groups for wonderful and often profound learning opportunities.
